Tyson wanted to drive awareness of their Any’tizer and Crispy Chicken Strip product lines that included existing favourites and new flavours. Working with Brandmovers, Tyson was able to develop an on-brand American football themed promotion housed within their existing website.
How it Works
Three distinct prize periods allowed users to enter and win from a variety of American football related prizes. To enter, users picked the correct “Starting Lineup” of Tyson products. Additional entries were earned by sharing on social media and proof of purchase receipt upload, all towards a Grand Prize of a trip for two to the Super Bowl in Houston, Texas.
The promotion was promoted via Twitter ads, in-store shelf blades, and free-standing inserts (coupon). Brandmovers also leveraged a relationship with NFL superstar Julio Jones to engage fans during the Falcons playoff run.
The Results
Over 50,000 entries and double the traffic that Tyson.com normally receives.
A sponsored post on Jones’ Facebook and Twitter accounts resulted in a 300% increase in traffic to the promotion site the following day.
