Nickelodeon engaged Brandmovers to develop a promotional experience designed to leverage their Tracfone partnership to drive mobile phone sales while also delivering premium SpongeBob Squarepants content and apps to users.
How it Works
With each purchase of a qualifying Tracfone mobile phone at Walmart or Target, the consumer received a unique code redeemable on our website for unique SpongeBob SquarePants content and free games/apps on the Google Play store. Each code could be used multiple times to access the site, but only allowed download of each item once (enforced via integration with the Google Play store).
Double-digit lift in sales based on the branded partnership, with tens of thousands of content downloads ensuring that Nickelodeon content was present on these phones from day 1.
