Brandmovers worked with Carphone Warehouse’s promotions agency TBK Group to devise and execute the digital aspect of a nationwide £10 million giveaway campaign to drive footfall and reward customer purchases in the run up to Christmas aligning with wider experiential and in-store activity.
How it Works
After making a qualifying purchase, customers upload or take a photograph of their receipt. Validated purchases are rewarded at random over a range of prize tiers, from digital vouchers to Mini Cooper cars to £100,000 cash!
Brandmovers bespoke receipt moderation platform made it possible to qualify hundreds of thousands of purchases throughout the campaign flight, with fraud detection and security ensuring the promotion wasn’t gamed.
Over 900,000 transactions, more than 143,000 entries and almost 80,000 gifts claimed by happy Carphone Warehouse customers, whilst a 17% increase in footfall and 6% increase in sales on the previous year confirmed a major success for the client.
